After three decades closed, the restaurant “A Gruta” reopened in March 2019, with a rehabilitation project carried out by António Fernandez Architects. This renovation maintained the classic style from before, while several new features were introduced.

Benefiting from a privileged location and a view of the Port of Funchal, it is dedicated to Madeiran gastronomy with the most varied meat dishes, fish, salads and delicious desserts.
