A Mercadora is one of the oldest grocery stores in Funchal, located next to Mercado dos Lavradores. It has been known for decades for selling spices and the secret and special blend of condiments, still from the founder’s time.

Its furniture, which fills the walls, remains original to that of the beginning of its activity, and the sales are also kept loose. The coffee grinder is one of the oldest elements of the shop, which can be found as a decorative element.
