Viewpoints

With a beautiful view of Funchal and its bay, all the way to Ponta do Garajau, this viewpoint is in Santa Catarina Park. The park has a large lawn, surrounded by several flowerbeds and paved paths, where you can walk around and observe the many species of trees, shrubs, and herbs from all over the world.

Visitors have at their disposal a bar, a children’s playground and a games room. Another attraction of this municipal park is the lagoon with fountains, where an island was built for the nesting and resting of the swans and ducks that live there.
