Public Promenade Maritime
The Maritime Public Promenade, located on the west side of the city, runs along the whole length from Rua do Gorgulho to Ponta da Cruz, passing through the Praça da Região Autónoma da Madeira, Clube Naval do Funchal, Estação de Biologia Marítima and Complexo Balnear da Ponta Gorda.
Hand in hand with this promenade always by the sea, various exotic species of Madeiran flora harmoniously appear, with the grassy promenades and their park benches as a stage, where you can contemplate the wonderful gardens that extend all the way to the cliffs.
