Almirante Reis Beach was designed with the primary purpose of protecting the maritime area of the city, it is composed of pebbles and is situated right in the middle of downtown Funchal, more precisely between Praça da Autonomia and Forte de São Tiago.

This beach offers superb views of both the mountains and the magnificent bay of our city and is a great opportunity to enjoy our wonderful climate.
