Beaches and Bathing Complexes

The Lido Bathing Complex is located in one of the most emblematic areas of Funchal. On the west side of this Bathing Complex, we can observe the Lido islet.

It was renovated and opened to the public in the summer of 2016 and offers visitors good accessibility from the public road to the inside of the complex. It has a large solarium, two saltwater pools and access to the sea.

To ensure accessibility to the pool, you can use the lift, amphibious wheelchairs and to move around the complex wheelchairs are available.

This space provides a variety of services and infrastructures those being Wi-Fi, bar, bathrooms, first aid station and surveillance.

It was awarded with the Blue Flag.
