Beaches and Bathing Complexes

Formerly known as “Poça do Gomes”, the Doca do Cavacas bathing complex is located just a few metres from the famous Praia Formosa beach.

With a small but charming solarium area, “Doca do Cavacas” has direct access to the sea as well as fantastic volcanic pools.

From here we can see the headland of Cabo Girão, located in the parish of Câmara de Lobos.
