São Martinho Church
Opened in 1918, its main attraction is a triptych with images of the Annunciation, the Nativity and St. Anne and St. Joachim.
Although construction of this beautiful church began in the 18th century, it took over 150 years to complete the work and its size had to be adjusted to accommodate Funchal’s growing population.
