Sé do Funchal
Located in the centre of Funchal, the Sé Cathedral was commissioned during the reign of Dom Manuel and inaugurated in 1514. Over time, it acquired features characteristic of the Manueline and Gothic eras.
Its façade is divided into three sections and has a beautiful Gothic portal in the centre, made of stonework from Cabo Girão.
