Parks and Gardens

This viewpoint consists of a small garden, inaugurated on the 22^nd of July 2009, from which it is possible to enjoy the view to the east of Funchal.

When it was created, taking into account its size and enhancing natural light, trees were chosen to be light in size, accompanied by colourful herbaceous plants. Also to be taken into account the contrast of textures and the appropriate size for the location.

A pergola was built above the viewpoint, on which a climbing plant (Wisteria Sinensis) with lilac flowers, very aromatic, was planted.
