Campo da Barca Garden
A small urban park, with an area of 3,440 m2, located in the parish of Santa Maria Maior, near the eastern bank of the Ribeira de João Gomes.
Divided into two sectors by Conde Carvalhal Street, the northern sector is constituted by Conde Canavial Square and the southern sector by Tenerife Square. The original garden arose in 1818 and encompassed only the southern sector. The northern sector was added in 1903.
Due to the severe storm of February 2010, the garden was partially destroyed but was rebuilt and reopened in April 2012.
