Quinta do Palheiro Garden
Also known as the Blandy Gardens due to being acquired by this family in 1885. The gardens are located on a hill east of Funchal offering breath-taking views over the city.
This garden is a camellia lover’s paradise, the best time to see them in bloom is between November and April. It also has a Baroque chapel and a magnificent 18th-century house.
