Quinta das Cruzes Garden
With gardens where you can admire archaeological sculptures, among which we highlight the tombstone and the two magnificent 16th-century Manueline windows carved in basalt in the centre of the garden. This has a belvedere with a magnificent view over Funchal’s bay.
Romanticism influences the Quinta das Cruzes Garden through the construction of various stone paths, flowerbeds, some fountains and caves, among others. The garden spaces are filled with large centennial trees and various botanical species from Madeira Island.
