Quinta Vigia Garden
n 1979, the Regional Government acquired Quinta Vigia and both its buildings and its several gardens were remodelled. On May 2nd, 1984, it became the official residence of the President of the Regional Government of Madeira.
Quinta Vigia Garden has beautiful views over the city bay, large trees, exotic birds, palm trees, flowers and several species of plants for botanical lovers.
These landscaped areas have subtropical species from several regions and also have some samples of Madeiran flora.
